About the Founder
Hi! I'm Brent Lionel Mausisa, the founder of SwitchtoFreelance. I used to work in the call center industry before earning around 15k to 21k a month. After 3 years of working in the industry I was getting tired of working on graveyard shifts, and was always pondering on how can I earn more while having a good night sleep each day of the week. Then I heard about Upwork from one of my co-workers. I was totally intrigued so I googled it and voila it was an online freelancing marketplace.
After deciding that it's worth to try this new industry, I quit my job went home to Tacloban City and started my Upwork career.
It was all going well until Haiyan hit Tacloban and I lost all my stuffs.
I went back to Cebu and started all over again.
It's been 7 years since I have been freelancing through Upwork and so far I'm hitting 6 Figures a month now.
I never got a degree in any university but it didn't stop me from finding great companies and entrepreneurs to work with.
Now, my team and I want to help others to be successful in online freelancing an earn in Dollars, Euro or GBP.
